Vintage clothing is fragile and should be handled with care.

Wash according to the garment instructions when needed, or hand-wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Never twist or wring. pretreat stains with gentle, enzyme-based cleaners and soak for 10–30 minutes. Air-dry flat to preserve form and fiber. For ultra-delicate or embellished pieces, dry clean only with specialists who understand and properly handle vintage textiles.

store vintage pieces in a cool, dry space away from direct sunlight and humidity. Never hang knits. They should be folded and stored flat. Acid-free tissue will cushion folds and protect embellishments. Avoid standard plastic garment bags and wire hangers. Instead, choose breathable storage and supportive shaping. heavy garments and fragile items are best stored flat in archival boxes. Keep an eye on natural fabrics like silk, wool, and cashmere which are especially vulnerable to the elements and pests..

Maintain the shape of hats, handbags, footwear and boots with forms or stuffing to avoid creasing. To clean objects, we recommend wiping down with soft cloth.
